This policy explains how Bogle handles information when you use the service.
Information Bogle processes
Bogle processes the information you provide for your account, including your phone number through our authentication provider, display name, username, optional bio, birthday, preferences, and how you heard about us. We also process stories, characters, story sessions, chat messages, saved stories, follows, likes, blocks, reports, and technical information needed to operate the app. If you enable notifications, Bogle stores your Apple device token so it can route notifications to your device.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, provide story creation and play, show public discovery, keep private content private, deliver notifications you enable, prevent abuse, respond to reports, support account export and deletion, and protect the reliability and security of Bogle. We do not sell personal information.
Who can see content
Your public profile fields and public stories can be seen by signed-in Bogle users. Private stories and story sessions are restricted to your account. Unlisted stories are available to signed-in users who have the full unlisted link. Bogle staff and carefully selected service providers may access information only when needed to operate, secure, support, or moderate the service.
Service providers and retention
Bogle uses Supabase for authentication, database, and server functions, and may use AI providers to generate story content when you request it. We retain information while your account is active and as needed for security, legal, and moderation purposes. Deleting your account removes your profile, stories, sessions, saved stories, and associated device tokens from Bogle’s active service records. Report case history may retain the minimum non-identifying information needed to investigate abuse.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, manage blocks, export your data, delete your account, and control notification permission in iPhone Settings. To ask a privacy question or make a request, contact hello@bogle.chat.
